COVID-19 VACCINE INFORMATION

ARIS at home wants to thank you again for your continued commitment to our clients. The care that you bring into the homes of our clients has been outstanding throughout the pandemic. You are the heart of ARIS at home and every day you provide care, support and companionship – making it possible for our clients to remain in their own homes, and for that, we are so grateful.


ARIS at home will continue to do all we can to protect you and our clients from the coronavirus, including screening, continued training, and providing you with necessary PPE (masks, gloves etc.) to keep you and your clients safe.

 

As you know, In home care workers are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine in Phase 1a and we have compiled a list of links so you can sign up to get your vaccine! We have received updated information on where to go, and how to schedule an appointments. You will need your ARIS at home ID badge to show proof of employment.

ARIS at home encourages you to get the COVID-19 vaccine as soon as you are able to schedule an appointment.

 

Throughout the pandemic, we have advocated with national and state officials about the significant role you, as a front-line home care professional, play in protecting seniors and preventing the spread of COVID-19. We are in touch with our state and will keep you posted on any updates. Getting the vaccine adds one more layer of protection for you, your clients, and all of our families.

Cook County Health Department

Cook County Government, Cook County Health and Cook County Department of Public Health are pleased to offer COVID-19 vaccinations to those living or working in Cook County. The distribution of COVID-19 vaccination will be done in a phased approach as vaccine supply is available and using guidance from local, state and national public health authorities.
